COMMIT BY-LAWS
Bylaws are a critical document for any corporation, serving as the rulebook that governs its internal management operations. They outline the organizational structure, delineate the roles and responsibilities of directors and officers, and define the procedures for making decisions and resolving disputes.
You may find our bylaws at this link.
LIST OF WORKING GROUPS AND TASK FORCES
The Finance Working Group is responsible for working with individual COMMIT leaders to explore how to collect registration fees and hold funds in a bank account. The Coalescing COMMITs Working Group is responsible for responding to emails from people interested in the COMMIT Network. The Programming Working group offers programming to our regional COMMIT leaders and facilitators through meetings, workshops, and networking. The JIDEA Working Group connects with the former anti-racism working group and asks members to join this larger working group to carry on and support their charge, which includes an anti-racism audit and an update to the network's anti-racism statement.
The Outreach task force collaborates with the JIDEA working and the Coalescing COMMITs Working Group to reach existing and potential affiliated entities to form and update partnerships.
